A good leather bracer not only looks good, it will last a long time if treated correctly, as well as providing invaluable protection against string slap.

This Bracer has been hand made from high quality veg tanned 2.5mm leather.

These bracers measure 6" in length at there longest point (from wrist to elbow) and 8" in width at its widest point (closest to elbow), tapering to 5" at its shortest point (closest to wrist).

The bracer can be worn either left or right handed.

The design is of the Tree of Life which is prevalent in Viking and Celtic mythology with Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir, as part of the trunk. Mjolnir has been treated with a resisting technique to really make it stand out within the design. An Antique Tan dye has been used to give the design the nice contrast as well as a lovely colour. Other colours are available upon request (Antique Mahogany, Black, Saddle Tan, Briar Brown, Medium Brown and Dark Brown) The bracer has been finshed with two coats of Resolene and one coat of Carnuba Creme for weather protection and to give the design a nice mellow finish.

The Bracer is fitted with three Old Brass lace hooks and elastic shock cord to fix the bracer in place.  It is a very flexible approach to fixing the bracer as it can be done with one hand and it is very quick to put on and take off.  The elastic cord has been left quite long and can be adjusted to suit by untying the knot and re-tying it at a shorter length and cutting off the excess.  Brass eyelets have been fitted to each elastic cord hole to not only enhance the look of the bracer but also to protect the leather from being stretched or damaged.

We have a number of these bracers in stock but if we have sold out I will make it to order, in which case I will send you a message with expected delivery timescale (usually no longer than a week).
