Premium Arrows - 1 Dozen

Sold by the Dozen with 100 grain field points as standard, these arrows are made to your selected arrow Spine and Arrow Length (measured from throat of nock to tip of point).  They are made from high quality grain matched Northern Scots Pine as standard and are treated with two coats of Danish Oil, with each coat given a couple of days to soak in and dry thoroughly which not only brings out the grain of the wood, it also helps protect the shaft from the weather.  They are finished with two top coats of hard wearing wax, which are hand buffed to a very smooth finish.  This not only adds extra weather protection it also provides an incredibly smooth and aerodynamic finish.  They are therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, all year round.

All fletchings on our Premium arrows have the front end clipped with a razor blade to provide a smooth finish (so as to not cut the hand of Longbow archers and to decrease the chance of them being caught and ripped off when shooting Field).  They will then be whipped with a colour coordinated thread to further ensure that the fletchings won't incur damage when shooting.  This process is added as part of our Premium arrows but can be omitted if you wish, just let us know in the notes at checkout.

We use Bohning classic nocks on all of our arrows.  These nocks give a perfect fit for your arrow to the string, gripping enough for the arrow to stay on the string but not so tight as to give a harsh release.  For guidance, they fit perfectly on a 14 strand Dacron string or similar.

If you would like to add arrow wraps or Raven Fletchings to your order or upgrade to an NFAS set, please add them to your cart separately and we will include them in your arrow build.

Your order will usually be ready to ship within two weeks but we will confirm expected dispatch date once we have received your order.
